Why We Built It

As a Minnesota dad who flooded backyard rinks every winter, I wanted a hat that kept my kids warm and added thoughtful cushioning when they weren't wearing helmets.

Nothing on the market blended real winter warmth with discreet impact-assist design — so we built one.

The PondCraft Beanie™ features two permanently integrated PORON® XRD® Technology foam pads:

• One front pad covering the forehead and temple zone
• One rear pad positioned at the occipital region

PORON® XRD® Technology is a flexible performance material trusted in NFL helmet liners and NHL gloves. Soft and flexible during normal wear. Firms momentarily under sudden impact. Returns to shape immediately — impact after impact.

No hard shells. No rigid plates. No bulky inserts.
